If you had noticed that there is a vacuum at Seaford Station it’s because the lovely Jenny took retirement on Saturday 18th January. Jenny gave the station its charity bookstall, its plants, flowers, and the garden (with help from Sylvia Dunn and others) and looked after the historic photo display put together by Kevin Gordon and Seaford Museum. Nothing was too much trouble for this ray of sunshine behind the ticket window. Without her the loos would not have been reinstated! On her last day her station manager Andy Gardner and the Town Crier marked the end of her shift, and the ticket office was festooned with cards and flowers. But she will be back — to look after the plants!

Some kind comments from her regulars….
