The map is located by the ramp, behind the bus shelter at Pulborough railway station
If you are coming to the South Downs National Park Area, planning to walk or cycle in the beautiful countryside, you should start your adventure at Pulborough railway station. Here, you can look at the large map, put into a frame by GTR/Southern maintenance team in May. The routes show the bridleways and footpaths, and even indicate how far you are from the next railway station on the Arun Valley Line (that station will be Amberley), so you don’t have to backtrack if you want to catch a train home at the end of your day.
There is a similar map in a frame at Amberley railway station, on the platform.
So wherever you plan to go within the South Downs National Park Area and its surrounding countryside, you will have help at hand, thanks to the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA), GTR/Southern Rail and, of course, Sussex Community Rail Partnership (SCRP).
