Horsham District Council worked in collaboration recently with SCRP to promote both Pulborough as a tourist destination and rail and bus transport options to the village as a more sustainable way to travel.

Pulborough is the heart of rural West Sussex sitting on the Roman crossing of the River Arun. There are stunning walks across the Wildbrooks to the RSPB Reserve and others through countryside and woodland, including to the South Downs Light Railway steam trains.

Photographed with a promotional poster are Cllr Paul Clarke, Member for Pulborough, Coldwaltham and Amberley and Rowena Tyler, Community Development Officer for the Arun Valley Line.

The poster design and production were arranged and paid for by Horsham District Council, and the poster sits in the large frame, which is on semi-permanent loan to SCRP by Network Rail and contractors Bam Nuttall.

Rowena commented: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to display this eye-catching poster, which promotes the Pulborough WildArt Trail, whilst encouraging people to make use of the excellent public transport links to Pulborough.“
