Creative pupils and staff at Funtington Primary School spent a day making poppies, and then creating a display to be installed in the bookings hall at Bosham station.  Everyone had a part to play, from design, to cutting out, applying the glue, adding the black centres to the poppies, and finally, taking the display to the railway station to set it up and meet the station staff.

Funtington Primary School has been a station partner at Bosham since 2018.  The art teacher, Su Cork is very keen on getting pupils and staff involved in creative displays, with commemorative displays such as this one, and also the commonwealth flags bunting, to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee earlier in the year.

We look forward to seeing more displays at Bosham station – and thank you, Funtington Primary School!
