The SCRP/GTR Jubilee art project on Arun Valley and Sussex Coast Lines is in place, with the official Jubilee photograph, and our strapline ‘Community Rail congratulates Her Majesty’ displayed on posters, window films, and incorporated into partners’ artwork.
Station partners have installed their own artwork, with such a wonderful range from knitted floral tributes, to school pupils’ hand drawn portraits of Her Majesty, – even a 3ft diameter willow framed crown!
Others feature local royal related memorabilia, with archive material of the Queen visiting the area – such a lot of work has gone into collating and curating these exhibitions, they are well worth a look if you are at one of the participating stations.
