The community group restoring the Art Deco Bishopstone railway station to its former glory now have the keys to the community hub.
The Friends of Bishopstone Station have signed a tri-partite lease alongside train operator Southern and Network Rail.
Barbara Mine, chair of FOBS, received the keys from Paul Devereux, Contract Project Manager (Infrastructure) for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).
The group are now busy planning the official opening of the community hub.
:: The restoration project has been funded and supported by GTR, Railway Heritage Trust, Department for Transport, Network Rail, Community Rail Network and Southeast Communities Rail Partnership.
