There were no back to work Monday blues on the Arun Valley on 9th December. At Horsham station, pupils, staff and parents from the QE2 Special School put on a Christmas singing concert, all clustered around the piano which they had decorated in the summer. The Christmas Tree in the bookings hall looked stunning, as over 100 baubles and decorations had been made by the pupils, and handed over to Southern Rail staff member, Ian Parsons (otherwise known as ‘chief elf’) who, once again, did a fantastic job of decorating the tree.
Everyone enjoyed the half hour concert, with customers and staff commenting on how much it had brightened up their morning.
