The upgrades to Eridge station have started with breath-taking speed:
The old footbridge has been completely removed, Access from the ticket hall has been barred shut, A ticket machine has been installed at the front of the station, New, temporary access for pedestrians has been installed, (GTR are organising transport to and from the car-park if necessary), Works base and ancillary housing for the construction team is up and running, The platform roof canopy has been removed,
