The Eden Valley museum, High Street, Edenbridge is a great place for a visit especially during the school summer holidays.  The museum houses a fascinating collection of local artifacts starting with the Roman occupation of Britain, through the history of the town to a WWI exhibition.  Admission is free.  Do check on the website for opening times
