Things to do

Late last week we saw the installation of the 2025 “a Town explores a book” platform panels at St Leonards Warrior square.

This was the next phase in the Social history project exploring the heritage of the railway construction works and the Navvy workforce who toiled to complete the works, in some cases with great hardship.

The new panels extended the panels on the far end of the upside platform and added a colourful splash to that dark corner of the station.

Our thanks go to #Southeastern railways, #explore the Arch and their project partners.
